I really did not enjoying today’s drawing session, I can’t connect. I just don’t really fully understand the reason for drawing the boxes and architectural photographs. I know my work today was not at its full potential because of my lack of understanding.
I feel I have lost all my enthusiasm for drawing recently, none of the subject matters we have been given thrill me or interest me remotely, also my workshop work has been suffering, in the mixed media workshop I cannot seem to get on with my box. I have many ideas but none of them work. I have only completed the lid/gate which I am really pleased with and the side with the moon on is also effective even though it is a simplified version of original idea, but with still four sides to complete and all my ideas failing I have lost my enthusiasm.
